ACCESSIBILITY

The front entrance to the Parlor Room has four concrete steps with a handrail. We have a removable ramp to allow entry through the back door, which has a small step, available upon request.

The Parlor Room has two small bathrooms on the same floor as the listening room.

We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable at our shows. If you have a questions regarding accessibility please email accessibility@parlorroom.org

Can minors attend events without a parent or guardian?

Yes—The Parlor Room Collective welcomes young people to engage with our open mics, workshops, and community programming. However, we have age-specific guidelines in place to ensure safety and comply with legal responsibilities:

Ages 16–17

Minors aged 16 or 17 may attend events without a parent or guardian as long as they:

  • Check in at the box office when they arrive.

  • Provide an emergency contact for a parent or guardian.

  • Follow our Code of Conduct, which includes:

    • No alcohol, drugs, or inappropriate behavior.

    • Treating staff, artists, and other guests with respect.

    • Asking for help if they ever feel unsafe.

If attending regularly, we ask that they have a signed permission slip on file. One-time attendance may be approved with an email or verbal confirmation from a parent/guardian at the box office or sent to info@parlorroom.org.

Under Age 16

Minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or designated adult. Exceptions may be made if:

  • We receive written permission from a parent or guardian in advance.

  • Emergency contact information is provided.

  • A staff member has pre-approved their unaccompanied attendance.

Additional Notes

PRCO staff are not responsible for supervising minors while on premises.
Some events may include content or audiences that aren’t specifically tailored to younger attendees.
This policy may be updated based on insurance guidance or specific event requirements.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at
